The data controller for personal data collected through this website (mehmetsultan.com) is the site owner, Mehmet Sultan.

Contact form: first and last name, e-mail address, subject and message content.

Book reviews: first and last name, e-mail address, rating and comment content.

Film updates list: e-mail address, preferred language, registration IP address and consent timestamp.

For every form submission, your IP address and the submission time are also recorded.

Your data is processed to operate the forms (responding to your message, publishing your review after approval), to prevent abuse and unwanted content (security controls such as daily submission limits), and to fulfil obligations arising from Law No. 5651 and related legislation.

Processing is based on the legal grounds of compliance with a legal obligation (Article 5/2-ç of the KVKK) and legitimate interest (Article 5/2-f).

With your explicit consent, your e-mail address is processed to send film developments, release news, and possible invitation or ticket announcements. This consent is based on Article 5/1 of the KVKK and may be withdrawn by unsubscribing.

Your IP address and log records are kept solely as required by law; they are not used for marketing, advertising or profiling.

Your data may be stored on the servers of the service providers that supply the site's hosting, database and e-mail infrastructure.

It may be shared with competent public authorities upon a lawful request. It is not otherwise transferred to third parties and is never sold.

Your personal data is retained for the periods prescribed by the applicable legislation; at the end of these periods, or once the purpose of processing no longer exists, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Unconfirmed film-update requests are deleted automatically after 48 hours. A confirmed e-mail address is retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information, correction or deletion, and to object to processing.
